North Wales Opera returns to its ‘Liverpool home’ to share two of the world’s most beloved operas this Spring. Beginning their tour in North Wales they will culminate their performances in Liverpool.
Cavalleria Rusticana (Mascagni) and Pagliacci (Leoncavallo) provide you with some of ‘verismo’s’ best with perhaps the most famous operatic tunes. You will have heard the glorious Easter Hymn and Intermezzo in Cavalleria Rusticana and Vesti la giubba in Pagliacci. With a talented and international cast, they cannot wait to share with you the intensity of drama and the beauty of these masterpieces.
Under the proven leadership and artistry of international soprano Anne Williams-King and her team, North Wales Opera add Leoncavallo’s ‘Pagliacci’ to their repertoire. NWO first performed Cavalleria Rusticana in St George’s Hall in the autumn of 2018 to great acclaim.
